We are AWARD-WINNING home builders.
Since 1989, we've been providing the Kansas City metro area with the finest homes at a REASONABLE VALUE.
Founded in 1989, SAB Homes has proudly served the greater Kansas City area with some of the finest homes at a reasonable value. One of our central goals is to provide you, the home owner, a positive home building experience.
Since 1989, SAB Construction has provided single-family and multi-family homes to homebuyers in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Owner Scott Bamesberger’s extensive construction experience, keen sense of value, design and quality, as well as a strict organizational code, have made it possible for SAB Construction to focus on the positive aspects of the home building process for its customers.
As a design/build construction company, SAB Construction has more flexibility in home design and building style than ordinary homebuilders. Each SAB construction project schedule is updated daily by our field superintendents in order to give our homebuyers and subcontractors the absolute latest information on the progress of every home. This strict approach to monitoring construction progress has resulted in fewer delays and errors and has created a positive overall experience for all involved. When a home is complete, we have an in-house service coordinator to answer your questions and assist with call backs. Within the past few years, SAB Construction has begun to build in the Johnson County area, while continuing to maintain and expand in communities located in Lee’s Summit, Raymore and Kansas City North and metropolitan areas. At SAB, we continue to search for quality communities in which to build our award-winning products and we are constantly working to improve value without reducing the quality of our product. To achieve our goals, we take PRIDE in the following core values:
We conduct ourselves in a professional manner. We hire those who are masters in their craft and take pride in their work.
When you choose to build your home with SAB Homes, know that we stand behind our word and our promises. We are there for our homeowners before, during and after the closing.
At SAB Homes, integrity means doing the right thing even when you don’t have to, without the expectation of personal gain or recognition. Do what is right – not what is easy.
Each home we build is special and worthy of distinction. We don’t cut corners and it shows in our distinctive designs and finishes, as well as overall quality.
Excellence & Ethics (to ensure elated homeowners)
SAB homes constantly strives for excellence. Our goal is always 100% satisfaction. We work hard to achieve great relationships with our subcontractors and homeowners, a result of high ethics.

What is your background in Interior Design? I have my Bachelors of Science degree in Interior Design from Kansas State, a FIDER accredited university. I have been working in the design industry for over a decade in interior design firms and home builders. I spent five plus years working for prestigious San Francisco CA. design firms on high-end residential projects that were featured in national publications. Upon moving back to the Midwest, I have experience as a certified kitchen and bath designer and worked directly with Johnson County home builders in a showroom making interior selections, flooring and furniture sales before joining the SAB team. I feel lucky to be able to do what I love!
What do you like to do when you are not working? I enjoy spending time with my husband, two children Grayson and Ella and dog Romeo, shopping at flea markets, sewing, anything outdoors, DIY projects, and trying to Salsa dance.
What was the best present that you have ever received? I would say that my true interior design career started when I was 8, when I received a dollhouse for Christmas that my dad had made. I spent countless hours redecorating, making furniture by painting and stacking match boxes to be used as dressers and cutting pictures from magazines to be used as wall art. I loved working alongside my Dad in his workshop with the smell of sawdust and designing furniture for my Dad to cut out on his scroll saw. The doll house, “Casa De Kellie”, is still not complete! 😊
How would you describe your style? I prefer clean lines coupled with warmth, texture, and personality with a few trend-setting surprises. I love creating innovative designs that the client gets excited about! I want people to feel inspired in their space, but also functions for their lifestyle.
What is your favorite plan: I love the Wildwood plan. I like how the house is designed to maximize your view. It brings the outside in and the inside out, it is a great floorplan for entertaining! I would love to wake up and have my coffee on the terrace off of the master bedroom before the kids wake up and the daily chaos begins!
What I do: I answer phones, open & sort mail, help with accounts payable, enter contract information, keep insurance certificates on file current, enter house plans for new builds and new contractor information.
Background: I started my Accounting degree while working in the Office of Admissions at Central Missouri State University as secretary, paused to raise children went to work at school to have kids schedule.
